SRA / Associate Scientist
-Antibody Characterization

About the Role

We are seeking an Associate Scientist to support high-throughput antibody characterization efforts within a fast-paced discovery environment. This role will focus on executing standard antibody characterization assays, maintaining mammalian tissue culture workflows, and generating reliable, high-quality experimental data to support antibody screening and development programs.

Responsibilities
  • Execute high-throughput antibody characterization assays with consistency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Independently maintain mammalian tissue culture at volume, including cell line passaging, expansion, banking, and assay preparation
  • Perform in vitro benchtop assays to support antibody screening and characterization
  • Run ELISAs, SDS‑PAGE, and other standard protein and molecular biology assays
  • Support sample preparation, reagent preparation, plate‑based workflows, and routine assay execution
  • Accurately record experimental methods, results, deviations, and conclusions in ELNs
  • Follow SOPs and contribute to process improvements for assay execution and documentation
  • Coordinate multiple experiments in parallel while maintaining data quality and timeline expectations
  • Work cross‑functionally with antibody discovery, protein engineering, and biology teams
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
Qualifications
  • B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline
  • Solid hands‑on bench experience in a laboratory setting
  • Independent mammalian tissue culture experience, including comfort working at higher throughput or larger sample volumes
  • Experience with in vitro benchtop assays
  • Hands‑on experience with ELISA and SDS‑PAGE
  • Proven ability to execute repetitive, high‑throughput workflows reliably and independently
  • Strong documentation skills, including accurate ELN entries and adherence to SOPs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving lab environment
Nice to Have
  • Direct experience with antibody characterization, antibody screening, or antibody discovery workflows
  • Experience with automation, liquid handling systems, or high‑throughput assay platforms
  • Experience working in a biotech, CRO, or antibody discovery environment

The ideal candidate is a reliable, detail‑oriented bench scientist who enjoys high‑throughput execution and can be trusted to independently run assay workflows with consistency. This person should be comfortable in tissue culture, organized in documentation, and motivated to support antibody discovery programs through accurate and repeatable experimental work.
