Waymo is seeking a Research Scientist / Computer Vision Researcher to advance map scalability and world understanding using leading ML techniques. You will prototype ideas on Waymo's data, collaborate with engineers, and present findings to internal and external audiences.
The role requires a Master’s or PhD in CS/AI/ML, 1–3+ years of related work, and strong Python/C++ skills, with experience in JAX, Tensor Flow or PyTorch. Hybrid work in San Francisco preferred.
