Fuh Lab – Junior Specialist
Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences, School of Medicine

The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences is looking for a Junior Specialist to join the Fuh Lab. The responsibilities will include:
- Tissue culture maintenance and inventory
- Consenting patients for tissue collection
- Collecting tissue and blood from the OR and clinic
- Collecting clinical information
- Performing, analyzing, and interpreting cell biology assays
- Performing, analyzing, and interpreting molecular biology assays
- Presenting data
- Writing abstracts
- Preparing data in publishable format
- Specialists appointed at the Junior rank must possess a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of relevant research experience.
- Prior lab bench research for at least 1 year or more
- Experience in Western blotting
- Experience in designing experiments and analyzing data
- Experience in Excel and Power Point
- Experience in tissue cell culture
Screening of applicants will begin immediately and will continue throughout the recruitment period.
Salary range: $55,000-$58,600.
