Junior Specialist Bove Lab

The Bove lab at the Mission Bay campus of UCSF is looking to appoint a Junior Specialist. The laboratory focuses on Sex and Gender-informed Neurology and Digital Medicine. Junior Specialist, Department of Neurology, University of California, San Francisco.

• Work closely with the PI, faculty, and lab members to support the lab’s mission.
• Assist with patient interaction, data collection, patient recruitment, and quantitative or computational analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, neuroscience, neurobiology, biochemistry, or related discipline, or at least four years of research experience.
• Must have obtained the degree requirement for the Specialist rank by the time of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organization and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with patient interaction, data collection, patient recruitment, or quantitative/computational analysis preferred.
• Preferred candidates are willing to work in the lab for at least two years.
