Delling Lab – Junior Specialist

Responsibilities- Basic laboratory skills:
Molarity calculations, accurate solution formulation, pH determination, and maintenance of accurate notebooks. - Molecular biology: PCR, DNA isolation and manipulation, PCR genotyping interpretation, protein gel electrophoresis.
- Animal work:
Work with mice and manage mouse colony. - Lab management:
Oversee and organize ordering of lab supplies.
- Must have a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four years of research experience.
- Ability to understand and follow basic laboratory protocols with direct supervision.
- Ability to perform complex tasks without committing errors.
- Must have a baccalaureate degree (or equivalent degree) in Biological Sciences with emphasis on cellular and/or molecular biology with completion of an undergraduate research project.
Salary range: $55,000–$58,600.
