Junior or Assistant Specialist
- Wang Lab
The Department of Psychiatry is now recruiting a Junior or Assistant Specialist. The job duties include the following:
- Animal husbandry
- Rodent stereotaxic surgery (virus injection, hardware implantation)
- Behavior assays (execution and scoring)
- Calcium imaging drug behavior
- Optogenetic manipulation during behavior
- Brain Histology
- Confocal imaging
- Junior Specialist- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent degree) or at least four year of research experience
- Assistant Specialist
- Master's degree (or equivalent) or a bachelor's degree with three or more years of research experience. - Prior research experience (during and/or after college)
- Experience with at least some of the experimental approaches listed above

A reasonable estimate for this position is $57,700-$73,200.
