OverviewJoin a mission-driven biotechnology team at the forefront of transformative therapeutics for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. We are seeking a passionate Scientist or Senior Scientist with expertise in immunology, especially T cell biology, to drive discovery and preclinical research. In this pivotal role, you will design advanced in vitro assays, contribute to preclinical efficacy and mechanism-of-action studies, and collaborate with cross-functional experts working toward IND-enabling milestones.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Partner with experts in single-cell technology, epigenetic editing, and computational modeling to design, evaluate, and interpret novel immune interventions, leveraging complex multi-modal datasets.
- Develop and scale functional T cell and Treg assays to identify and prioritize high-potential therapeutic leads.
- Lead the design and execution of in vitro and in vivo studies for target discovery, validation, and progression to preclinical development.
- Contribute deep immunology and autoimmune disease expertise to experimental planning and data-driven project strategy.
- Advance Treg biology research, guiding investigations into differentiation, stability, and suppressive function.
- Prepare data packages, research reports, and regulatory-supporting documentation for project advancement.
- Mentor and support junior team members, and help cultivate a rigorous, collaborative scientific culture.
- Present findings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders and program leadership.
- Ph.D. in immunology, cell biology, or related discipline with at least 2 years of industry experience; or BS/MS with 8+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Deep hands-on experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry.
- Proficient in designing in vivo models of autoimmune or inflammatory disease.
- Skilled in primary immune cell isolation, ex vivo culture, and Treg functional assays.
- Experience authoring preclinical or IND-supporting study documents.
- Experience running pooled screens or working with single-cell or bulk functional genomics datasets
- Direct experience with autoimmune disease models (e.g., rheumatoid arthritis, colitis).
- Proven record of collaborating with or managing CRO relationships for preclinical studies.
- Familiarity with basic computational tools for data analysis (Python, R).
