Assistant Specialist – Ha lab
The position will be utilized to help augment our current tissue collections protocols from the operative specimens and in clinical biopsies. The Specialist will need to be able to identify potential patients, perform consents, and work with the pathology and surgical teams to successfully collect tissue under a number of different protocols.
The individual will also spend time performing research, both wet and dry lab, focused on head and neck cancer. The Specialist may need to help with lab duties and organization as well.
Required Qualifications:- Master’s degree or a baccalaureate degree with 3 or more years of research experience.
- With history of productive research endeavors.
- Have good understanding of the field of head and neck cancer, both clinically and in research.
- Have a good understanding of tissue collection protocols.
- 3+ years of research experiences.
See Table 24B for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $65,800 - $73,200.
