Under the general guidance of the Bar Manager, perform all duties and provide timely, courteous service with guest satisfaction as the primary goal. Responsibilities include the promotion of specials and upselling.

• Provide friendly, courteous and professional service to all internal and external customers/guests, at all times.
• Retain and maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage menu items.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down stations.
• Maintain and ensure the overall cleanliness of assigned station and the establishment.
• Ensure proper bar tab procedures and successful transfer of tables.
• Perform accurate cash/credit handling and POS procedures in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
• Upsell food and beverage menu items.
• Check identification for proof of age when required.
• Monitor guests’ drinks and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Provide food service as appropriate.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years in a public contact position, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
• Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor.
• Ability to multitask, work in a fast‑paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with other employees and departments.
• Ability to work independently and partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork.

• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 20 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, write, stand, sit, walk, perform repetitive motions, bend, climb, listen, and hear with visual acuity.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Pay Range: $20.57 per hour. Pay rate outlined follows contract requirement.
