We are actively searching for an experienced, friendly and energetic individual to join the team as Bartender at MKT Bar - Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco!
** The Role - Overview
** The MKT Bartender is dedicated to providing exceptional quality and service to our guests, assuring each guest is greeted promptly, courteously, graciously with eye contact, and a smile.
This key role provides guests and servers with quick and efficient beverage service, following the state and city alcohol law while adhering to Four Seasons standards of service.
** Essential Functions*

** Above all else provide quality beverage product that ensures guest satisfaction.
* Greet guests, take food & beverage orders, and prepare drinks with a high degree of sophistication.
* Review drink tickets entered by servers and prepare each order to their specification within specified service standards and times.
* Recommend cocktails and wines to be paired with food items offered in the bar and adjacent restaurant.
* Recommend beverages (wine & spirits) based on guest preferences.
* Maintain strict serving and sanitation guidelines consistent with State, Local and Four Seasons requirements.
* Adhere to all Four Seasons standards – inside the Bar as well as out.
* Work efficiently while maintaining a harmonious relationship with employees at all levels of the organization.
** Qualifications & Experience
*** Viable candidates
** must
* * have a minimum of two years of bartending experience in high volume, upscale environment.  Luxury experience is
**** preferred****.
* Extensive wine, cocktail, and food knowledge is
**** required****.
* Knowledge of point of sales systems
**** required****.  Micros Symphony knowledge
**** preferred****.
* Candidates with a bartending/mixology certification are
** preferred

* Must be able to easily prioritize and multi-task.
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends & holidays.
