350 Seventh Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118. Store:
Smart & Final (Chedraui USA).

Starting rate: $19.25 per hour. Part‑time position.

Smart & Final is a 150‑year‑old warehouse‑style grocery store offering fresh produce, quality meats and over 3,000 club‑size items without a membership fee. As part of Chedraui USA, we give back to the community through the Smart & Final Charitable Foundation.

• Maintain assigned store section and stock merchandise using proper equipment.
• Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, manage rotation, and stock shelves, end displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas, including parking lot.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous assistance to customers, including current store and product information.
• Assist customers in loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost or damaged goods and store supplies.

• Read and write English; interact with general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
