FULL TIME POSITION, $19.18 HOURLY BENEFIT ELIGIBLE

Full‑time position at the Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center’s San Clemente Thrift Store. The store supports the Adult Rehabilitation Program and offers a positive shopping and donor experience.

• Maintain and clean the area in and around the Donation trailer/pod at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain all reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Separate and sort donated material into proper containers and stack material as instructed by the Supervisor.
• Assist TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Inform the supervisor of needed items prior to running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes, carts, etc.).
• Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at the end of each shift.

• Must pass background check, which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to move product up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Our stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Full‑time associates may be scheduled to work any full‑time shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
