Part‑time Associate – 351 San Francisco

Location: 350 Seventh Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94118

Starting Rate: $19.25 per hour

The Part‑Time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, including:

• Maintain assigned store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise; ensure proper pricing and product rotation.
• Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior and exterior areas of the store and parking lot.
• Operate a cash register: receive payments, process refunds, and verify eligibility for alcohol sales.
• Offer friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, including loading purchases into vehicles.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties and record lost/damaged goods and supplies.

• Read and write English; interact with customers and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
