Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee all activities during shift including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
• Maintain strict adherence to all policies and procedures, leading by example and holding crew accountable.
• Handle staffing, paperwork, food management, schedule execution, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
• Ensure the store presents a perfect image and meets all standards.
• Deliver great customer service and maintain attendance & punctuality.
• Arrive on time and provide transportation to/from work.

• Stock ingredients from deliveries to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Exhibit strong communication and verbal skills with customers and co‑workers.
• Provide clear written instructions.

• Perform accurate and quick basic math (adds, subtracts, multiplies, divides) using calculator if needed.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to process orders.
• Demonstrate motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
