The Territory Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA, responsible for driving sales growth for Quantum’s custom windows and doors in the assigned territory. This role involves managing and expanding relationships with architects, contractors, builders, and distributors, conducting in-person meetings, presentations, and site visits to understand project requirements and recommend suitable product solutions. The Territory Sales Manager will prepare quotes, manage the sales pipeline, and oversee orders from initial inquiry through close, collaborating with internal design, engineering, and production teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery.
Day-to-day activities include prospecting new accounts, following up on leads, providing product education and training to customers, and maintaining detailed records of opportunities, forecasts, and account activity. The role also includes representing Quantum at industry events, staying informed about market trends and competitors, and contributing feedback to improve products and sales processes.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven Sales experience in building materials, construction, or a related industry, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Customer Service and client relationship management skills to support long-term partnerships and repeat business.
- Sales Management and Training experience, including pipeline management and educating customers or channel partners on product features and benefits.
- Familiarity with architectural plans, construction processes, and technical product specifications.
- Ability to work on-site and in the field across the San Francisco Bay Area, including regular travel within the territory.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with proficiency in CRM software and basic office applications.
- Relevant education or equivalent experience in Business, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
