About The TeamDoro Dash’s New Verticals team focuses on growing our non-restaurant bets across all Door Dash lines of business. The team manages the strategic vision, acquisition, management and development of partnerships outside of our restaurant business. This team is at the tip of the spear for many of Door Dash’s growth bets.
AboutThe Role
As a Business Development Manager for Door Dash, you will lead our relationships and negotiations with Convenience/Alcohol companies in the broader US ecosystem. The best candidates will be self‑motivated, entrepreneurial, and have exceptional interpersonal and relationship‑building skills. You enjoy building and solving ambiguous, hairy problems -- you like to experiment with new things to further develop our business in a way we haven’t yet explored.

- Own, develop and refine the strategy for Door Dash partnerships in the convenience and alcohol space
- Manage a pipeline of accounts in all phases of our relationship

- 6+ years of business development experience and sales experience, preferably a mix of high-growth, early‑stage startup.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Comfortable exercising discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties, including evaluating options, making informed decisions, and determining appropriate courses of action within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
The base salary is localized according to employee work location and is negotiated based on skills, prior experience, and specific work location. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. The national base pay range for this position is $144,160—$212,000 USD. The total on‑target earnings (base + commissions) are $180,200—$265,000 USD.
