Position Overview
Mid‑Market Territory Account Manager – responsible for new business and current business for all Forcepoint solutions within the United States, based in Northern California.
Essential function:
Develop and execute new account development through B2B sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services. Collaborate with the Regional Vice President to create specific account and opportunity plans that support company goals and quota objectives.
- Develop and implement specific customer account and opportunity plans.
- Engage sales resources – Sales Engineers, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives – to develop and implement customer account plans.
- Use the CRM system to develop, manage, and close forecasted opportunities.
- Manage and drive revenue through complex, multi‑go‑to‑market strategies.
- Execute complex sales and manage the sales process and activities.
- Manage 150–300 prospect accounts.
- Meet or exceed sales quota.
- Negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.
- University degree preferred and 2–5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
- Proven Cyber Security experience, including Cloud Security and Network Security.
- Experience managing, growing, and owning large accounts.
- Previous experience with accounts having 2,000 employees or more.
- Consistent achievement against sales quota.
- Experience presenting to C‑level / executive contacts.
- Experience working with Channel and direct business development.
- Ability to partner and engage with internal sales resources such as sales specialists and sales engineers.
- Familiarity with sales methodologies such as TAS and SPIN.
- Structured, processed work style with strong time‑management skills.
- Experience across various vertical markets.
- Good analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
