About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Sales Executive with a strong background in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation sales. This role is focused on developing new business, managing the complete sales cycle, and delivering customized logistics solutions to direct shippers. The ideal candidate is a true hunter with experience selling multimodal transportation services and consistently exceeding sales targets.
What You ll Do- Develop new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and strategic prospecting.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline within the assigned territory.
- Sell domestic transportation, air freight, ocean freight, warehousing, and customs brokerage solutions.
- Conduct consultative discovery meetings to understand customer supply chain needs.
- Prepare proposals, pricing, and negotiate service agreements.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
- Transition new accounts to operations while maintaining long-term client relationships.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts, and pipeline activity.
- Stay informed on logistics market trends and competitive activity.
- 5+ years of freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation sales experience.
- Proven success generating new business from direct shippers.
- Experience selling domestic transportation, international freight forwarding, or integrated logistics solutions.
- Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to independently manage the full sales cycle.
- Consistent history of meeting or exceeding revenue or gross profit targets.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and strong business development skills.
