We're hiring a Business Development Representative to generate and qualify pipeline for the sales team. This is a high-intensity, high-volume seat built for real hunger and grit rather than a specific pedigree — the bar is attitude and coachability: someone who takes feedback well, shows up first and leaves last, and isn't afraid of high call volume every single day. The product is technical and genuinely difficult to sell, so intelligence and quick learning matter alongside grit.
What you'll be doing
- Generate and qualify an outbound pipeline through high-volume prospecting and cold outreach
- Take and act on feedback quickly to continuously improve pitch and targeting
- Build foundational sales skills with a clear path toward a full Account Executive role
- Work closely with the sales team to understand what makes a qualified opportunity
- Maintain a consistently high level of daily activity and follow-through
- 0-3 years, new grads welcome
- High-volume outbound grit
- Highly coachable
- Strong attitude, positive under pressure
- SF 5 days in-person
- Clear path to AE
- Prior student athlete background or comparable demonstrated grit and resilience
- Founder or entrepreneurial experience, even early or informal
- Strong academic performance at a well-regarded school paired with genuine hunger
- Clear signal of wanting a long‑term career in sales, with the patience to grind through a foundational BDR seat
- High energy and coachability visible in a first conversation
- Expects rapid promotion (within a few months) without putting in foundational reps
- Diva-like attitude or resistance to feedback
- Job-hopping pattern across short stints with no clear grit signal
- Low energy or passive approach to outbound activity
- Not genuinely interested in a long‑term sales career path
- Category-defining data infrastructure for the AI era — a technical, high-value product
- Profitable and scaling fast, with strong enterprise traction and top-tier backing
