About the Role
As a Sales Representative for Cardiac Diagnostics, you will sell and promote company products within a defined geographic territory. You will develop new accounts, expand usage of existing accounts, and meet revenue and unit growth objectives based on company sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Your Responsibilities Will Include- Develop and implement sales strategies by determining relevant factors (e.g., product, competition, pricing) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
- Create action plans (weekly, quarterly, monthly) by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports, identifying the needs of particular accounts, and discussing issues with the Regional Sales Manager to help the organization achieve its annual sales goal.
- Determine the needs (product and pricing), goals, usage, and types of cases handled by specific customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel.
- Establish pricing packages that address specific customer needs while satisfying company guidelines and policies.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel (e.g., clinical research, pricing, and marketing) to develop optimal solutions.
- Build relationships with hospital personnel (e.g., through casual conversation, meetings, conferences) to make new contacts in other departments and identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms (slides, transparencies, manuals) to secure purchasing commitments, often with the help of incentive programs and services available to the account being developed.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent clinical/sales experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of medical device, pharmaceutical, or related sales experience.
- Experience selling cardiac monitoring equipment or related devices.
- Direct selling experience to physicians and hospitals.
- History of and relationships with key players in the cardiac monitoring industry.
- Technical aptitude; able to discuss and explain software algorithms.
- Strong interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication, and ability to communicate with diverse groups (physicians, office staff, etc.).
Compensation:
Base salary of $70,000 plus variable compensation as outlined in the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan and core benefits.
