We are seeking an experienced Freight Sales Executive to drive new business development within the freight forwarding and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling domestic and international freight solutions while developing long-term customer relationships.
Responsibilities- Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold calling.
- Sell freight forwarding and logistics services including:
- Domestic Freight
- International Freight
- Warehousing
- Customs Brokerage
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through closing.
- Prepare customer proposals, pricing, and contracts.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure successful onboarding.
- Maintain CRM activities and sales pipeline.
- Achieve revenue growth and sales targets.
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- 3–7+ years of Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or 3PL sales experience.
- Proven experience in new business development.
- Existing book of business preferred.
- Experience selling international and domestic freight services.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- CRM experience.
- Must reside in the San Francisco Bay Area.
