Mule Soft Consumption Lead

We are looking for a strategic growth‑focused Consumption Lead to drive adoption, growth, and success of Mule Soft within our largest GMV customers, helping them fully leverage the platform to achieve their e‑commerce objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Set the strategic direction and consumption growth plan for priority accounts.
  • Drive consumption growth by successfully implementing initial commerce use cases.
  • Conduct research to understand customer business and objectives.
  • Prepare thoughtful questions and insights before customer meetings.
  • Practice active listening and uncover buying motivators, decision criteria, investment propensity, and key stakeholders.
  • Gain commitment and build a shared vision while proactively highlighting value propositions.
  • Apply business planning insights, considering economic, industry, and company factors from a customer‑centric perspective.
  • Track and drive key consumption metrics such as GMV, order volume, and platform utilization.
  • Develop data‑driven expansion strategies based on consumption patterns.
  • Create and execute account plans to achieve targeted consumption goals.
  • Guide customers’ roadmaps to maximize the platform’s value.
  • Understand customers’ IT infrastructure and business requirements and use‑case roadmaps.
  • Create, own, and execute technical POCs and demos for expansion use cases.
  • Accelerate and expand consumption by engaging and influencing a range of external audiences—including technical stakeholders, line‑of‑business leaders, and all organizational levels from CxO to developer.
  • Engage internal stakeholders such as implementation partners, professional services, technical architects, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Build business cases demonstrating ROI of increased platform adoption.
  • Create consumption acceleration playbooks based on customer success patterns.
  • Drive adoption of new commerce capabilities aligned to business outcomes.
  • Propel measurable business outcomes through commerce capabilities.
Minimum Requirements
  • 7+ years of applicable sales or customer success experience with technical expertise.
  • Experience driving consumption or adoption in enterprise accounts and portfolio management.
  • Technical knowledge of Mule Soft (advantageous).
  • Ability to engage technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of leading and driving customer success in complex, executive‑level environments.
  • Experience managing people and inspiring high‑performing teams.
  • Execution of sales and expansion strategies with enterprise customers, deep understanding of utilization and consumption models.
  • Deep technical knowledge of data architecture and ability to speak business language.
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills; ability to engage developers, architects, and C‑level executives.
  • Consulting or open‑source experience, or experience with an annual subscription sales model (preferred).
Preferred Requirements
  • Understanding of order management and marketplace solutions.
  • Deep technical knowledge of data architecture.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and Salesforce certifications.
Compensation

The typical base salary range for this position is $97,140 – $209,580 annually. In Colorado, New York, and select cities, the range is $106,860 – $230,640 per year. Base salary only; bonus, equity, and benefits are additional.
