Associate - PJT Park Hill (Private Equity - Distribution

Join the PJT Park Hill Private Equity team as an Associate in San Francisco.

• Support distribution efforts across the West Coast.
• Maintain existing LP relationships and develop new relationships.
• Cultivate strong LP and GP relationships; navigate these relationships to maximize commercial impact and influence key stakeholders.
• Maintain a deep understanding of both investors and clients, key selling points, and challenges around mandates and how best to address them with investors.
• Anticipate investor base needs and use knowledge to direct both sales and sourcing efforts.
• Provide advice to LP clients on market trends and/or strategies that go beyond PJT Park Hill mandates.
• “Quarterback” the lifecycle of the sale.
• Play an integral role throughout the negotiation, structuring, distributing and closing phases of complex transactions.
• Work effectively with existing project management teams across the firm to ensure effective communication and dialogue, resulting in constantly improving distribution results.

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Accounting, Finance, or Economics major preferred.
• 5–10 years of fundraising experience, particularly with private equity.
• Strong investor relationships and substantial experience in managing capital raises.
• Ability to drive multiple sales processes simultaneously.
• Demonstrable track record of building client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of the markets and competitive landscape.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects at a time.
• Self‑starter with ability to work effectively as part of a global team.
• Confident and self‑aware with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic, genuine passion for excellence, results‑oriented.
• Personal and professional integrity of the highest order.
• Entrepreneurial outlook; self‑starter who takes initiative and is collaborative both internally and externally.

Expected annualized base salary of $225,000 to $250,000, plus potential discretionary bonus and other incentives. The specific base salary will be determined by role level, scope, location, and the candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
