We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to support the growth of a well-established, ACHC-accredited, state-licensed home health agency. This role is responsible for expanding referral partnerships, increasing market presence, and managing business development activities across assigned territories with an existing client base.

The ideal candidate has a proven background in healthcare sales, particularly within home health, post-acute care, or a related healthcare setting. Success in this role requires exceptional relationship-building, strategic planning, and the ability to develop long-term partnerships with referral sources, providers, and payers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day sales, marketing, and business development efforts within designated territories.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, case managers, discharge planners, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Establish and negotiate contracts and reimbursement agreements with managed care organizations, government agencies, and other third‑party payers.
  • Maximize reimbursement opportunities by maintaining strong payer relationships and supporting effective contract management.
  • Evaluate market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic plans to increase referrals and market share.
  • Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and volume projections to support organizational growth.
  • Execute marketing strategies and community outreach initiatives that drive patient census and revenue objectives.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with applicable federal, state, and industry regulations, including anti‑kickback and patient solicitation requirements.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and supervising marketing and business development staff as needed.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of community needs, market conditions, and payer feedback to enhance the organization’s reputation and service excellence.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years of healthcare marketing or business development experience, preferably in home health or post‑acute care
  • Prior experience in sales or account management strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional referral networks
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently in a field‑based role
  • Experience supervising or managing staff preferred
