About Niural

Niural is the AI-native global PEO for the modern workforce. Our mission is to give every growing company enterprise-grade payroll, benefits, and compliance without the enterprise overhead. Built from scratch rather than retrofitted onto legacy systems, Niural combines payroll, PEO/ASO, global EOR, benefits, and vendor payments into one intelligent platform. Powered by EMMA, our AI coworker that executes - not just advises - Niural runs payroll and compliance across 150+ countries with near-perfect accuracy.

Backed by a $52M Series A and $200M+ in annualized gross revenue on our PEO product alone, we're building the financial infrastructure that companies run their businesses on.

About the job

As SDR Manager, you'll lead the team responsible for filling the top of Niural's sales funnel across our US and global payroll and benefits, US PEO, Employer of Record (EOR), and bill pay products. You'll hire, coach, and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives who prospect and qualify leads among CFOs, COOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, Payroll Directors, HR leaders, and business owners.

This is a player-coach role: you'll build the systems, cadences, and coaching muscle that turn a group of individual SDRs into a high-performing pipeline engine, while staying close enough to the work to jump in on calls, refine messaging, and troubleshoot deals in real time. You'll partner closely with Sales leadership and Account Executives to make sure the leads your team generates convert into real pipeline and revenue.

Responsibilities
  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of SDRs, building a bench that can grow with the company.
  • Set and manage individual and team targets, tracking activity, pipeline, and conversion metrics against goals.
  • Coach reps on outbound strategy, objection handling, and qualification through call reviews, role-play, and side-by-sides.
  • Build and refine outbound playbooks, sequences, and messaging across calls, email, and social.
  • Own the SDR-to-AE handoff process, working with Account Executives to make sure qualified leads convert into pipeline.
  • Manage the team's use of the CRM and sales engagement tools, keeping activity and data clean and reportable.
  • Report on team performance to Sales leadership, flagging risks and opportunities early.
  • Stay close to the front line: jump into calls, prospecting, and outreach when it helps the team or a specific deal.
  • Continuously test and improve outbound tactics as products, markets, and buyer personas evolve.
About you

You will succeed in this role if:

  • You've carried an SDR or sales quota yourself and know what great outbound looks like from the inside.
  • You have experience managing, coaching, or mentoring a sales development team, or you've clearly demonstrated leadership as a top performer ready for the next step.
  • You're a strong communicator who can coach reps on both the art and the science of outbound.
  • You're data-driven, comfortable living in the CRM, and able to turn activity metrics into coaching priorities.
  • You're resilient and persistent, and you help your team stay that way through rejection and ramp-up.
  • You're organized enough to manage a team's pipeline and your own priorities at the same time.
  • You lead with a customer-centric mindset, helping your team understand and speak to real prospect pain points.
  • You're proactive, resourceful, and comfortable building process where none exists yet.
Requirements

A college degree is great but not required. If you don't have a college degree, other acceptable experience could include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in HR, technology, or software sales, including at least 1-2 years in a leadership, mentorship, or management capacity.
  • Demonstrated military experience with skills such as teamwork, resilience, negotiation, and trust-building, coupled with a strong "never give up" attitude.
  • Experience in professional team sports during college, showcasing teamwork, discipline, and a competitive spirit, with a proven track record of leading others.
What we offer
  • Competitive salary plus commission/bonus package designed to reward your expertise and your team's results.
  • Access to continuous learning and career advancement programs.
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment where ideas are valued and teamwork is encouraged.
