Regional Distribution Leader

The Regional Distribution Leader will spearhead the execution of MSIG USA's distribution strategy within the Western Region, encompassing a multi-state territory. This role focuses on fostering strong partnership in the major cities within the region driving overall profitable growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute MSIG USA's regional distribution strategy to drive profitable growth and increase market share throughout the West Region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic alignment with retail and wholesale distribution partners.
  • Develop and implement regional business plans that support corporate growth objectives and production targets.
  • Optimize portfolio mix and expand share of wallet with key broker partners while maintaining underwriting discipline.
  • Provide market intelligence, competitive insights, and broker feedback to support business strategy and product development.
  • Build, strengthen, and maintain executive-level relationships with key retail brokers, wholesalers, and strategic distribution partners.
  • Establish MSIG USA as a preferred market through consistent engagement, visibility, and value-added partnership.
  • Lead formal governance and business review meetings with priority distribution partners to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and strengthen collaboration.
  • Partner with brokers to communicate underwriting appetite, capabilities, and strategic priorities.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Distribution, Underwriting, Product, and Senior Leadership teams.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Leaders and Underwriters to identify opportunities for profitable growth and ensure effective execution of underwriting strategies.
  • Influence internal stakeholders and external partners to achieve regional growth objectives.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and customer-focused execution.
  • Represent MSIG USA at industry events, broker meetings, client functions, and trade associations throughout the region.
  • Enhance brand awareness and strengthen MSIG USA's reputation within the marketplace.
  • Develop meaningful connections with key clients, brokers, and industry influencers to support long-term business growth.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, production results, market trends, and broker engagement metrics.
  • Evaluate partnership performance and implement action plans to improve growth, profitability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Regularly communicate regional performance, opportunities, and challenges to senior leadership.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Property & Casualty insurance
  • Proven leadership skills with track record of success
  • Demonstrated experience in broker relationship management
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships, internally and externally
  • Skilled at influencing brokers, clients, peers, senior executives.
  • Proficient in managing key insurance relationships effectively
