Territory Executive – Sacral Neuromodulation
About the role Valencia's eCoin® Peripheral Neurostimulator ("eCoin") is a radically small, inexpensive platform electroceutical that can be placed subcutaneously in a simple office or outpatient procedure. The Territory Manager will be the primary point of contact for our customers for the assigned territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing a field sales and clinical team to achieve business targets and long-term growth.
- Executing strategic territory and quarterly business plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Providing comprehensive clinical support, including patient education, device programming, follow-up, and in-service training.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians, nurses, hospital leadership, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while strengthening existing accounts.
- Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Business teams to implement effective sales and educational initiatives.
- Monitoring market trends, competitive dynamics, and healthcare system changes to adjust strategies proactively.
- Representing the company at clinical meetings, conferences, and training programs.
- Managing territory operations with integrity, including reporting, inventory stewardship, and compliance with T&E, Adva Med, and company standards.
- Maintaining deep clinical, technical, and product expertise while staying current on competitive offerings.
- Utilizing CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce and Tableau to drive business insights and performance.
Required qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of direct sales experience.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven track record of sales success.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High initiative and creativity; ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel 1–2 overnights per week.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Minimum 5 years of medical device sales experience.
- Medical device experience in pain, implantable, or similar spaces.
- Solid understanding of the reimbursement climate (Category 3 preferred).
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Experience selling in hospital, ambulatory surgery center (ASC), and office-based settings.
- Familiarity with local Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) contracts.
- Ability to present a compelling value proposition with both financial and clinical impact.
- Experience selling disruptive technologies.
- Background in consultative sales.
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
The anticipated annualized base amount for this full time position will be $100,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
