Head of Outbound Sales (Founding Profile)
AI infrastructure company (Frontier Labs building Models)
"Build the outbound function from nothing, and run it yourself while you grow the team"
A venture-backed company selling technical products to developers. Revenue is growing fast ($100m+) and customers are largely inbound. Currently there is no SDR team, no playbook, no pipeline history and we are recruiting for someone to fill this gap.
TO DO- Define who the buyer is and how to reach them
- Prospect strategic accounts personally
- Build the outbound motion using agents, automation and signal data
- Set the pipeline number, and own it
- Hire and coach the first team of SDRs
- Handoffs with AEs and marketing
The split is 50/50. You will initially be handson and an IC with the view to hire a team.
THE PROFILE WE ARE AFTER- Built from zero! A founding profile is Non-negotiable
- Hiring and running SDRs against a pipeline target
- Startup background
- Technical sales covering AI, API, devtools or infrastructure, sold to developers or engineers
- AI-native - e.g agents, clay tables, signal plays.
- On site in the Bay Area 1-3 few days a week is Non-negotiable
- An understanding of usage-based pricing
· product-led motions
· developer community sourcing
· promoted SDRs into closing roles
· worked with GTM engineers...
$200–300K base. $280–420K OTE. Equity. 10–15% annual bonus. Full US benefits.
