- Support the Center’s Trans and LGBTQ Employment programs through day-to-day programming, events, and client services
- Maintain Employment Services program administration and support annual monitoring and compliance reviews
- Develop monthly, annual, and ad hoc program reports
- Maintain confidential client files
- Collect and enter program data into Microsoft Excel, Google Spreadsheets, Workforce Central grant reporting tools, and Salesforce CRM
- Track program impact through qualitative and quantitative reports
- Support participant forms for two or more city grants
- Collect demographic and impact data for Employment Services clients
- Present grant impact data and program metrics monthly using PowerPoint and Salesforce CRM
- Participate in long-term program planning
- Provide intakes, assessments, Individual Employment Plans, case management, job-search and career-development coaching, and referrals
- Assess participants’ occupational skills and interests relative to the local job market
- Help participants set and reach employment objectives
- Coordinate, develop, and facilitate job-search workshops and groups for trans/GNC/LGBTQ community members
- Coordinate the Employment Services intake process, including scheduling and leading intake meetings, collecting enrollment forms, transitioning clients to active caseloads, and maintaining the waitlist
- Respond to community inquiries by phone or email and refer inquiries to appropriate staff or resources
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Cultural humility and demonstrated commitment to the transgender community
- Familiarity with transgender, lesbian, gay, bisexual, and gender non-binary identities/experiences
- Minimum two years of experience working in workforce development and/or trauma-informed case management work
- Familiarity with government grant contracts and grant reporting structures
- Ability to learn new data systems, including WFC reporting tools
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, Zoom, Salesforce CRM or similar programs
- Experience with project management tools
- Commitment to the mission of the San Francisco LGBT Community Center
- Experience with and commitment to working in a multicultural environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Detail-oriented and able to complete paperwork and tasks in a timely manner
- Innovative, solution-oriented approach to complex issues
- Commitment to alternative organizational structures and shared decision-making
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities
- Fluency in English required; bilingual skills highly desired
- Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented structure
- Understanding of local San Francisco/Bay Area community resources preferred
- Ability to operate a computer and common office machinery for up to eight hours daily
- Ability to remain stationary for several hours daily
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Ability to work in a shared office space with moderate noise
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends
- Local travel may be required; no car required
