Role DescriptionThe Territory Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This role is responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within an assigned territory, focusing on pharmacies and other medication dispensers. Day-to-day activities include identifying prospects, scheduling and conducting in-person meetings, presenting Eco Pharm Returns' services, and demonstrating how the company's solutions recover value from expired inventory.
The role involves building long-term relationships, providing ongoing support, and partnering with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience. The Territory Sales Representative will track sales activities, maintain an organized pipeline, and report on territory performance to leadership.
- Strong territory management and business development skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, and account growth.
- Proficiency in consultative sales, relationship building, and in-person presentations to pharmacy and healthcare customers.
- Ability to understand pharmacy workflows and regulatory considerations related to expired medication returns (pharmacy or healthcare experience is a plus).
- Comfort using CRM tools, basic productivity software, and reporting methods to manage pipeline and document customer interactions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain services clearly and handle objections effectively.
- Self-motivated and organized, with a strong sense of ownership over territory performance and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to travel regularly within the San Francisco Bay Area to visit clients and attend relevant events or meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience in sales or pharmacy services will be considered.
