Recast Systems is building the missing control layer for cloud seeding: the sensors, materials, and AI weather models needed to turn weather modification into a precision science. We’re a small, fast team making it possible to run cloud seeding programs that are measurable, repeatable, and actually improve over time. If you want to work on high-stakes systems that touch the physical world, ship quickly, and see your work show up in real operations, you’ll fit in here.
Role DescriptionAs a Meteorologist specializing in cloud seeding, you will analyze atmospheric data to identify optimal weather conditions for cloud seeding operations. You will conduct weather forecasting, monitor severe weather patterns, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to execute cloud seeding initiatives. Your work will involve reporting, data analysis, and contribution to research aimed at optimizing processes and techniques in the field of meteorology and cloud seeding.
Qualifications- Knowledge in Physics relevant to atmospheric science
- Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting meteorological data
- Advanced degree (Masters or higher) in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or a related field
- Previous experience in weather modification or cloud seeding is a plus
- Experience with modeling tools or software beneficial
