Responsibilities
- Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Contributing to prosecution strategy
- Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office

- Ph.D. (completed or in progress) in life sciences, plant biology, chemistry, or medicine
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills; top academic credentials are essential
- Internship period – 3 to 6 months, full‑time or part‑time (part‑time program requires 20 hours/week)
- USPTO registration is not required
Boston, MA;
Palo Alto, CA; and San Francisco, CA annual salary range: $40,000 (part‑time program); $80,000 (full‑time program).
