Key Job Responsibilities
  • Lead Amazon Music Label and publisher royalty initiatives.
  • Drive core financial automation activities that impact Amazon Music revenue.
  • Collaborate with content acquisition managers, global finance, tax, accounting, legal, and senior leaders to define new initiatives and stakeholder experiences.
  • Lead a dedicated engineering team to build the right customer experiences.
  • Conceive and manage initiatives, continuously evaluating opportunities for big ideas and product improvements.
  • Own and develop a clear product roadmap and implement diverse initiatives and projects throughout the year.
A Day in the Life
  • 08:30 AM – Coffee, charts & chords, review product metrics, and listen to Release Radar.
  • 09:00 AM – Daily stand‑up with engineering; discuss blockers and updates on the royalty split service.
  • 10:00 AM – Cross‑functional session with finance, tax and legal to align on automation logic for global royalty compliance.
  • 12:30 PM – Quick recharge with a walk or ping‑pong/foosball session.
  • 02:00 PM – Label experience review; work on onboarding friction for indie labels.
  • 03:00 PM – Deep‑thinking session on real‑time earnings visibility, smart‑contract triggers, scalable reporting.
  • 05:00 PM – Wrap‑up; check JIRA tickets, follow up with stakeholders, and close the day with final stream from Amazon Music.

Basic Qualifications
  • 4+ years of customer‑facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of agile product development and life‑cycle management process.
  • Experience leading cross‑functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines.
  • 5+ years of customer‑facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
