Surefox North America Inc is a veteran‑owned company that strives to create a diverse and unique culture of trained and talented individuals. We are currently seeking individuals with military, law enforcement, or security experience to join our team as an Event Resilience Officer.
Role OverviewYou will work on a special event under the guidance of Shift Supervisors and Area Managers for one of our top clients. As an Event Resilience Officer (RO), you will act as an ambassador for Surefox and its clients while ensuring the overall safety and security of client employees and property.
Key Responsibilities- Access control, including verifying credentials of individuals seeking entry.
- Employee and guest engagement and verification measures.
- Active patrolling and monitoring of client facilities.
- Responding to medical and non–medical emergency events.
- Providing top‑tier customer service to personnel on client campuses.
- Maintaining a professional and respectful interaction with all individuals.
- Keeping detailed notes throughout any incident and compiling reports with coworkers.
- Perform security patrols on foot to deter suspicious activity.
- Assist with access control operations.
- Monitor entrances and exits to ensure security of the facility.
- Assist client employees as needed to create a safe and friendly environment.
- Respond to and assist with any emergencies on site.
- Assist with preparing reports for accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
- Work independently, adapt to various work‑paces, and maintain high attentiveness and energy.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Minimum age 18 (per state licensing guidelines).
- Current BSIS guard card.
- CPR/AED & First‑Aid certification or in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Customer service oriented; able to communicate professionally and respectfully with people at all levels.
- Good judgment; able to make timely and sound decisions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to safely deploy and use any assigned equipment.
- Must be on feet for long periods and/or able to conduct foot patrols.
- Experience as a security officer or in a security‑related position.
- Experience with special events.
- Military background.
- Law enforcement or security related experience.
- Experience writing statements and reports.
