Security Officer Armed Area Patrol in San Francisco, CA – You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. This is an armed post requiring an armed guard card or license. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.

- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and document observations and actions according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, and/or deliveries in accordance with post orders and government site requirements.
- Communicate with site contacts, local authorities, and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security‑related matters as needed.
- Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- 1 or more years of law enforcement experience or 2 or more years of security supervisor or manager experience or 3 or more years of security‑related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Pepper spray certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
