Position: Security Officer Patrol Protector – Playa Vista, CA (Part‑Time)

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Friday: 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 10:0 PM – 06:00 AM

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff, following site‑specific procedures and supporting security‑related protocols throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly, report concerns to the appropriate contacts, and maintain a visible presence to deter security‑related incidents.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned parts of the location.
• Monitor activity at assigned posts to deter unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, and policy violations through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with directions, crowd management, and communication during events or incidents.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 18 years of age or older for unarmed roles; 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screening in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
