- Provide customer service to clients and employees by carrying out site‑specific procedures, financial location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting security‑related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, restricted access areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and support visitor and employee screening processes in accordance with site procedures for a financial institution location.
- Assist with investigating unusual activity, preparing clear incident reports, and supporting law enforcement and/or emergency responders when circumstances require.
- At least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
