Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $28.90 / Hour

Job Schedule:

  • Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Wed 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
What You’ll Do:
  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, helping to support orderly communication and documentation.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, stairwells, and the exterior perimeter, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
  • Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with property protocols, while providing courteous assistance and clear directions to building occupants and guests.
  • Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate security‑related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or property representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess at least 5 years of security‑related experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
