We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Healthcare Security Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, preventing losses, and responding to emergencies. Candidates should possess skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
** Essential Functions
*** Supervise day to day security operations and team as directed by the Operations and Client Manager
* Responsible for scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, and professional development of assigned security workforce.
* Develop, implement and enforce Post Orders / SOP
* Respond to all emergency situations quickly and professionally
* Actively acknowledge everyone with a friendly greeting and/or identify visitors in order to provide directions and information pertaining to the area
* Manage uniforms, equipment and supplies
* Submit and ensure all required reporting requirements are met
* Monitor and report any unusual activities,
* Able to de-escalate and/or handle tense situations (e.g. disgruntled persons, disruptive behavior, redirect and reduce homelessness off property, etc..
** Who we are looking for
*** Minimum of 3-5 years previous Security Supervisor experience in a healthcare environment with excellent customer service skills
* Must have valid BSIS Guard Card with Powers to Arrest & Appropriate Use of Force certificate
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
* Ability to perform necessary physical duties, i.e., walking, standing and making necessary round
* Must have basic computer skills and ability to use a smartphone
* Must be able to obtain all company and client training requirements (provided by the company
* Preferred :
First Aid / CPR and AED certified
