Residential Security Agent

Position Summary and Objective

Residential Security Agent (RSA) provides static residential protection and physical security for a client at a designated site in Presidio Heights, San Francisco, CA. The position will be based in a designated geographic region and will support the security team's overall client coverage. Anticipated start date:
June 15, 2026. Team Lead will be decided by management.

• Provide static protection and other security‑related duties for the client at a designated site.
• Manage family members to ensure safety and security precautions are maintained.
• Respond to emergencies and perform adequate medical first‑aid operations.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise during the conduct of a mission.
• Communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate with clients and management through incident reports and other administrative tools.
• Conduct area patrols in and around the site and report suspicious activity.
• Assist with protection schedules and team assignments.
• Operate and maintain protective, operational, and communications equipment, including a vehicle.
• Identify and report deficiencies, failures, and security gaps promptly.
• Assist with intelligence and other duties within the Command Post.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience developing relationships on assignments.
• Maintain composure with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public under urgency and pressure.
• Manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Work with children and manage protection in a family environment.

• 5+ years of security experience, including 2+ years of executive protection/residential security team experience.
• Experience conducting protection missions in domestic environments.
• A high school diploma or GED; a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Basic medical first‑aid training and AED; CPR certification preferred.
• Employment contingent upon passing a background check and a review of driving history for relevant disqualifying convictions.
• California BSIS Security Guard Permit (Required).
• California BSIS Security Exposed Weapons Permit (Required).
• California Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) (Required).

• Regular Full‑Time (RFT), non‑exempt position. Part‑Time (PT) positions available.
• 12‑hour shifts.
• 24/7 availability to the client while on a task.
• May require domestic and international travel.
• Salary:
  • Team Lead: $55 per hour.
  • Residential Security Agent: $51 per hour.

• Exposure to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals or approaching an unauthorized area.
• Rapid and effective decision‑making during unusual or emergency situations.
• Work in environments that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, using protective gear and devices, and maintaining personal and others’ safety.
• Work with multiple people of all ages and participate in physical activities and outdoor events.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Regular computer usage.
• Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, including climbing stairs and walking up inclines and uneven terrain.
• On occasion, perform stressful and physical activity when needed.
• 24/7 availability to the client while on a task.
• Held to professional standards to maintain a high degree of moral conduct and client safety.
