Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a shelter location;
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues through proper channels;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter, helping to identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations;
Monitor entrances, common areas, and other assigned spaces, helping to support order and following post instructions for visitor interaction and incident response;
Assist with de-escalation support when appropriate and work with site contacts and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, or other urgent situations
