Armed Security Officer – Part Time
Garda World Security Services is hiring an armed security officer for a part‑time position.

- Conduct post checks of officers under your supervision
- Train new officers
- Ensure 100 % coverage of your site to prevent dark posts
- Issue corrective action forms (CAFs)
- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on‑site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
- State security license and additional 32‑hour BSIS security trainings (additional trainings can be obtained during the hiring process)
- Minimum age of 21 years
- At least one year of armed security experience
- Active exposed firearm permit
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Documentation of HS diploma or GED
- First aid certification is an asset
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift
- Experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement is even better
