As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Unit in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Monday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM;
Tuesday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM;
Wednesday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM;
Sunday 08:00 PM – 08:00 AM.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and high‑value spaces, verifying access credentials and reporting unusual behavior, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
• Carry authorized armed equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal post instructions, while maintaining a professional presence and readiness for security‑related response duties.

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security‑related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
