Your MissionAs a Support Officer, you will be a critical component of our executive protection and emergency response framework. You will operate with precision and professionalism, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and proprietary information. Your responsibilities include:
Provide a visible, reassuring security presence for executives and staff, while delivering exceptional customer service.
Act as a first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within the client's office suite.
Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure; locks, cameras, access control systems to ensure operational integrity.
Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership.
Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage.
Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority.
Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing the safety of executives, staff, and guests.
Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems.
Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.
- Experience:
Executive Protection, Emergency Response Teams (ERT), Protective Security Detail (PSD), or Residential Security Teams (RST)
- Valid BSIS CA Guard Card; this is an unarmed position
- American Heart Association BLS Provider OR Heart Saver CPR/AED/First Aid Certification
- U.S. Passport & Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire Physical Readiness Test (PRT)
- Meet-and-Greet evaluation (dependent on client/location)
- Background Investigation & Random Drug Screening
- Command presence and confidence under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tactical awareness and emergency response capabilities
- Physical readiness and mental resilience
- Discretion, integrity, and professionalism
- Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience
- CA CCW, Exposed Firearm Permit, LEOSA/HR 218 permit or CCW valid for all 50 states
- Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response
- Completion of Executive Protection or Residential Security Academy
- EMT license strongly considered, but not required
- Familiarity with Corporate and/or Residential Security Technologies, Tools and Processes
