Executive Protection and Residential Security Agent

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Residential Security Agent with high integrity and professionalism to serve our clients in the Bay Area or elsewhere in California.

As a Residential Security Agent, you will act as a liaison between Surefox and its clients while providing physical security at their residences, performing duties in accordance with client policies, state and federal regulations.

Base Hourly Rate: $45.00 per hour.

• Develop relationships with clients, facilitate collaboration, and influence informally across different departments within the team.
• Track and report program performance assurance and compliance requirements within provided guidelines.
• Manage and monitor surveillance equipment and access points.
• Maintain a log of all activity occurring at the residence.
• Screen all incoming mail.
• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot and/or by vehicle while monitoring access.
• Watch for unusual activity and respond immediately and safely to emergency situations on-site.
• Contact the police or fire department if and when there is an emergency.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company and/or client property.
• Prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
• Provide assistance to employees and create a safe and friendly environment for visitors and clients in a professional manner.
• Attend project meetings upon request to assess the security implications of proposed changes.
• Work independently and adapt to various work paces while maintaining attentiveness and energy.
• Be responsible for client and family safety, as well as safeguarding client assets.
• Conduct ongoing threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments.
• Operate motor vehicles in a safe and legal manner.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local emergency services, routes, and points of interest within a given area of responsibility.
• Operate in a low profile, low footprint capacity.
• Follow Residential Security Operating Procedures and Guidelines and comply with Surefox policy and procedures.

• Eligibility to work in the United States and a minimum age of 18 years per state licensing guidelines.
• Active California Concealed Carry Permit/License and Exposure Firearm Permit, and a California Security Guard Card.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Current BSIS guard card or eligibility to qualify for guard card.
• Pass an extensive background check and drug screening.
• Pass the Protective Operations Surefox Physical Agility Test (PO SPAT).
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages.
• Valid U.S. passport, valid driver’s license, and ability to operate motor vehicles safely.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, domestically, and internationally.
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent judgment, decision-making, and communication skills with people at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies.
• Knowledge of current technology platforms.

• Security or law enforcement related experience.
• Military background.
• Report writing experience.
• Experience working with families and children in a high-net-worth environment.
• International experience.
