Put your security experience and sound judgment to work in San Francisco. Allstate Security is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to help protect employees, customers, and property through a visible presence, attentive patrols, and professional service.

• Thursday–Sunday, 1400–2300
• 32 hours/week, as specified for this opening
• Pay: $26/hour

• Maintain a visible armed presence at entrances and other high-risk areas.
• Monitor access, verify authorization, and patrol interior and exterior areas.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, theft, trespassing, and other incidents.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access-control systems as assigned.
• Respond calmly to emergencies, follow site procedures, and contact law enforcement or emergency medical services when necessary.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff notes.

• Age 21 or older.
• A valid BSIS Guard Card and California Firearm Permit.
• Your own firearm and duty belt.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Successful completion of required background screening and compliance with company policies.

• Previous armed security, law enforcement, military, or high-risk security experience.
• De-escalation and conflict-resolution skills.
• Familiarity with surveillance and access-control systems.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate radios and assigned security equipment.
• Visual and auditory awareness to monitor your surroundings.

• Maintain a professional appearance, exercise sound judgment, and follow company policies and site procedures.
• Treat customers, visitors, and staff with courtesy, discretion, and respect.
• Remain attentive in a fast-paced environment and keep safety and customer service central to your work.
