Overview
Topa Group, Inc. is partnering with a growing fire protection company in San Francisco that is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Foreman. We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will have a valid Fire Sprinkler Fitters Card
, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Lead and supervise fire sprinkler installation crews on assigned projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure installations meet design intent and code requirements.
- Coordinate daily tasks, material needs, and manpower to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety policies.
- Oversee layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems, hangers, valves, and related equipment.
- Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Train and mentor apprentices and fitters to promote skill growth and safety awareness.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality and accuracy of work.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, time sheets, and material logs.
- Valid Fire Sprinkler Fitters Card (required).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
- Strong understanding of NFPA 13 and related fire protection codes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
