Overview

Topa Group, Inc. is partnering with a growing fire protection company in San Francisco that is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Foreman. We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Foreman to lead field installation crews on commercial, industrial, and residential fire protection projects. The ideal candidate will have a valid Fire Sprinkler Fitters Card
, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage schedules, crews, and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise fire sprinkler installation crews on assigned projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure installations meet design intent and code requirements.
  • Coordinate daily tasks, material needs, and manpower to maintain project timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and company safety policies.
  • Oversee layout, fabrication, and installation of piping systems, hangers, valves, and related equipment.
  • Communicate with project managers, general contractors, and inspectors to resolve issues and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Train and mentor apprentices and fitters to promote skill growth and safety awareness.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify quality and accuracy of work.
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, time sheets, and material logs.
Qualifications
  • Valid Fire Sprinkler Fitters Card (required).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fire sprinkler installation, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Strong understanding of NFPA 13 and related fire protection codes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
