Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive testing and inspections for systems under maintenance agreements.
- Generate detailed test and inspection reports based on code requirements and customer needs.
- Respond promptly to troubleshoot and complete necessary repairs, ensuring system functionality.
- Report on activities completed, deferred, or requiring further action or material.
- Identify code and non‑conformance issues, ensuring adherence to required standards.
- Provide quotes for small repair jobs and detailed parts/labor estimates for larger projects.
- Serve as on‑call one week per month, with flexibility for overtime.
- Mentor less experienced technicians, fostering growth and knowledge sharing.
- 5+ years' experience in installation and/or maintenance of large‑scale integrated security systems.
- Strong understanding of network components, workstation and server OS management, IP addressing and subnetting, video network transmission, and basic switch, router, and firewall principles.
- Ability to work in varied environments, including mechanical equipment areas, ladder/climbing, scaffolding, ducts, ceilings, outdoor/indoor, and extreme conditions; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Minimum 18 years old, valid driver's license with limited violations; eligible for Siemens fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without sponsorship.
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- Extensive access control experience.
- Certifications in Lendel S2, Genetec, CCure.
- 7+ years' experience in installing/maintaining large‑scale integrated security systems.
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
The pay range for this position is $82,753 – $141,862 annually.
