Offshore Rig Mechanic
Zadok Technologies is accepting résumés for a Rig Mechanic. The Mechanic shall be knowledgeable with experience in installation, commissioning, start-up, maintenance and support of diesel, pneumatic, & electrical drive/driven equipment as well as experience with safety devices and systems including TSE's, Overspeed, Low-Flow, and Vibration sensors. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assists offshore drilling operations by maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment
- Complete mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic maintenance, repair, and installation in a safely and efficiently
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty mechanical equipment and tools
- Complete periodic maintenance according to the scheduled maintenance guidelines, coordinating with supervisors as needed
- Perform inspections and maintenance on mechanical equipment, completing repairs if needed
- Trest, service, and maintain engine/equipment shutdowns
- Promote good housekeeping on all work sites
- Maintain an open line of communication with company and client representatives
Candidates should have working knowledge of the following systems and equipment:
- TDX
1250 top drives - ST160 / MPT
270 Iron Roughnecks - Hydraracker IV-ER Pipe racking Systems
- Pneumatic fingerboards
- AHD and SSGD Drawworks
- 14P220 Mud Pumps
- Hydraulic Elevators
- SWBD Maintenance
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Marine Mechanic experience, offshore in the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing Diesel pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Passport is required
